Welcome to Wimbledon and Putney Commons

Wimbledon and Putney Commons and COVID-19

We are living in the most extraordinary circumstances and we understand the importance of access to open spaces such as Wimbledon and Putney Commons for mental health and well-being.

With a marked increase in the number of visitors to the Commons, we have had to implement a number of new measures and if you are visiting the Commons, please read our guidelines.   Thank you.

Wimbledon and Putney Commons are 1,140 acres of countryside amidst the urban surroundings of Wimbledon, Putney and Kingston-upon-Thames.  Designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation, the Commons provide an important home for wildlife and a place for visitors to relax and unwind.

Please enjoy your visit, and help others to enjoy theirs too!
