Autumn Newsletter
Autumn is always a favourite time of the year here on the Commons. Heralding the transition into the cold, dark winter months, Autumn sees our flora and fauna putting on a final hurrah before slowing down until the warmer sunshine of spring returns.
It's been a busy few months for our staff with the hugely successful Open Day and the Launch of the Friends of Wimbledon and Putney Commons, along with the sudden and dramatic changes in weather which are certainly keeping our Maintenance Team on their toes.
With excellent news about our Heritage Lottery Grant success and the London in Bloom awards, we have plenty to report in this Newsletter!
