Tennis returning at Putney Lower Common!
The Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators (WPCC) are pleased to announce the appointment of All Star Tennis as the new operator of the Putney Lower Common Tennis Courts. This new partnership marks an exciting step forward for the future of the site, which has long served the local community as a valued outdoor sporting facility.
All five courts are set to undergo a major programme of repair and refurbishment in the Winter, bringing them up to modern playing standards, with the intention of opening Spring 2026.
All Star Tennis will operate an inclusive community focused venue, increasing tennis participation through a programme catered to all age groups and skill levels, ensuring everyone can access and enjoy the facility.
Founded in 1999, All Star Tennis is at the heart of tennis in Wandsworth, delivering exceptional services and a vibrant, fun, professional, community-focused experience on court. Putney Lower Common will become the seventh All Star Tennis location with popular venues at Leaders Gardens, King Georges Park, Wandsworth Park, Wandsworth Common, Tooting Common and Furzedown Rec.
