Every part of the Commons - paths, heathland, bogs, streams, ponds, and woodlands - requires care and investment beyond the regular day-to-day management. Thanks to the support of the Friends, we're able to care for 1,140 acres of countryside. 

From just £3 a month, you can play a vital role in preserving Wimbledon and Putney Commons—a sanctuary for wildlife and a cherished space for our community.

The Friends are dedicated to supporting projects that enhance conservation efforts while also improving accessibility and infrastructure, ensuring that the Commons remain welcoming and accessible to all visitors.

Since its inception, the Friends have raised over £200,000 through membership fees and fundraising events. With your support we can do so much more. 

Whether you're a local resident or a visitor who treasures the Commons, your contribution is invaluable. Even if you already pay the Commons Levy, becoming a Friend amplifies your impact.

Gifts from UK tax payers qualify for Gift Aid. By ticking the box below, you are allowing Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators to reclaim the tax that you have paid on your donation.

† Please note you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and community amateur sports clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on your donations for that tax year. All other taxes such as VAT and council tax do not qualify. We will reclaim 25p of the tax on every £1 that you have given. Please let us know if your circumstances change.
