CANCELLED - Children's Easter Egg Hunt

Following the Government advice of 16th March regarding Coronavirus and the need restrict unnecessary social contact, we have taken the decision to cancel the Children's Easter Egg Hunt.

This has become a traditional event here on the Commons and we are sorry to disappoint those we know enjoy taking part.

We hope to be able to hold the Halloween Pumpkin Hunt in October so do check our website for details.


Easter Bank Holiday Weekend

Children's Easter Egg Hunt!


Start at the Ranger's Office and follow the trails to find the hidden Easter Eggs, collect all the letters and find the secret words to claim your prize!

Free entry into the Prize Draw for everyone who takes part.

No need to book - turn up any time between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

Collect your entry form from the Ranger's Office - entry fee £2.00 

Easter Colouring Competition

There will also be a free to enter Easter-themed colouring competition taking place in the Information Centre - with Easter Egg prizes for each age category:  up to 8 years of age; 9 to 16 years of age; and this year a "Grown up" category too!

Holding an Event on Wimbledon and Putney Commons

As the Commons are now a popular location for events, you will need to seek permission from the Ranger's Office before organising any formal or semi-formal event on or across the Commons.  This is to ensure that there is no clash of events that would spoil the enjoyment of participants, or negatively impact our visitors, other users or  indeed have a negative impact on the Commons - a protected Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Whilst we are limited to the size and type of event we can host here on the Commons, we are always happy to see if we can help.  Please complete the Enquiry Form and one of our team will get back to you to discuss your request.  

As a charity, we do charge for events on the Commons.  The charges will depend on the nature of the event.  Please contact the Ranger's Office for further information.
