Walking for Health Event

Walking for Health

5th February 2019 from 10.30am

Ranger's Office

Working in partnership with Merton Council and their Walk4Life programme, two members of our staff have been trained as walk leaders and recently began leading a series of short, easy walks on the Commons that have been specifically designed for people who would like to improve their health and well-being by becoming more active.

Walking has many health benefits and it's a great way to meet new people and make new friends. The walks are free, no special equipment is needed and you can walk at your own pace in the safety of a led group.

Walks usually last for about 60 minutes but a small group does a shorter walk of 30 minutes.

The walks start at the Ranger's Office at 10.30am.

Booking is not required, and tea and coffee is provided.
