All you need to know about visiting the Commons during the festivities

If you need any assistance at any time, do contact the Ranger’s Office and our Duty Officers will be happy to help. Please see below for contact details and all other important information for your visit over the festive season:

Windmill Car Park:  Open from 7am to 5.30pm every day

Springwell: Open every day

Richardson Evans Memorial Playing Fields: Open 9am to 4pm but closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day

The Ranger’s Office will be open from 9am to 5pm every day apart from Christmas Day.   Outside of these hours and on Christmas Day, a Duty Officer will be on call in case of emergencies.  They can be contacted on 020 8788 7655

Golf will NOT be played on the following days:

Monday 25th December
Tuesday 26th December
Monday 1st January

On all other days golf will be in play so do please take care around the course.   All visitors are asked to please respect the hard work of the Greenkeepers and keep off the tees and greens to prevent them from being damaged, especially as they are easily damaged after all the rain we have been experiencing.  Some areas have been roped off to try and keep the general wear and tear to a minimum.

You can expect to see horses out all over the holidays so do take care if you are walking near horserides particularly if you have children or dogs with you.  If you are not sure how your dogs will behave around horses, do please put them on a lead until the group has passed.

And don't forget that the second hand book stall is now in the Information Centre which will be open 9am to 5pm.
