Spring Walk at Putney Lower Common - 26th April 10.30am
The first of this year's Senior Management Team walks will take place on 26th April 2017 from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Join Simon Lee, our Chief Executive, Peter Haldane, our Conservation and Engagement Officer and Bill Rowland, Head Ranger, for an insight into Putney Lower Common, looking at our conservation work, the recent re-planting work to return areas of tarmac back to Common, and some fascinating history of the area! Walking for Health
14th March 2017 from 10.30am - meet at the Ranger's Office
Join our Commons' staff for a series of short and easy "Walking for Health" walks designed for people who would like to improve their health and well-being by becoming more active. One of our regular walkers assures us that the route taken equates to an average of 7,600 steps which is well on the way to reaching the daily 10,000 steps challenge recommended by the National Health Service.
