Wimbledon and Putney Commons as a Filming and Photography Location
Wimbledon and Putney Commons are an excellent location if you require a countryside backdrop within a reasonable distance of Central London.
Commercial Filming/Photography/Unit Parking:
We have limited unit parking facilities in three locations - Wimbledon Common (small units only), Roehampton Vale and Telegraph Inn Car Park.
We can offer a variety of locations from playing fields for sports to woodland, heathland and open grassland. Requests for drone useage will be considered on a case by case basis.
Charges will be dependent on the size of your unit and time on site but as an approximate guide:
£1300 per day for unit parking (one full bay)
£140 per hour for filming/still photography
£80 per hour for set up (where set up is more than an hour)
(All fees are exclusive of VAT)
Please note that depending on the nature and scale of the project, a bond may be required to safeguard against damage and/or reinstatement.
Please note that we do not permit filming between dusk and dawn, nor a weekends.
Family/Individual/Engagement/Wedding/Pet Photography
We offer flexible options for private photographers as follows:
One off Permit - £50 for a 2 hour session
Monthly Permit:
3 sessions of no more than 2 hours each - £135
2 sessions of no more than 2 hours each - £90
Annual Permit
3 sessions of no more than 2 hours each per month - £1,530
2 sessions of no more than 2 hours each per month - £1,020
1 session of no more than 2 hours each per month - £510
Wedding Group Photography
Up to 1 hour, up to 30 people £150
Up to 2 hours, up to 30 people £200
Up to 1 hour, up to 50 people £250
Up to 2 hours, up to 50 people £300

Students
We will assist students filming their course work or projects in any way we can and we generally will not charge. However, if your requirements involve additional work for our staff then a charge may be made.
We will require the following before we will consider your request to film:
- A detailed description of what you are filming, when and where
- A letter from your place of study confirming that what you are filming is part of your course work
- A copy of the Public Liability insurance from your place of study
- A risk assessment
